Since yesterday afternoon I have been in one “hormone/anti-cancer” drug driven mood swing after another. Honestly, the anti-cancer drug makes me nuts! While protecting the breasts from cancer by blocking the estrogen - the Tamoxifen floods the rest of me with more estrogen than is naturally produced - don’t ask me to explain it the GYN had to draw me a picture - I just know it happens not “why” it works this way. Scott likes to say that my mood swings are better than cancer - and I tend to agree BUT he is also on the receiving end of every single one of them.
Poor man!
Since I am unwilling to go off of the Tamoxifen I need to find a way to manage the mood swings…
I am off to google it!
